This I bought at the local model shop in Edinburgh, It's a Harpa model of a "Trabi" The nomdeplome for the East German Trabant a two stroke engined mass produced fiberglass body four seater, no longer in production due to polution levels from the exhaust, Although there are still large numbers of them running around, I have even seen them in the UK.

The model comes in kit form but is a simple snap together, I paid £2.50 for it.

My last purchase was a few used locos from a friend of mine. A mix of Athearn, Atlas and Proto 2000.

A good reason why H0 and OO should not be mixed

I just bought this Bachmann container and look at the difference the smaller one is Roco H0 40ft and the other Bachmann OO 40ft

Evidently they have two different "Scale" Rulers. I find the same thing in little motor vehicles, why can'y these people get their thinking caps on and say, "HEY !, if we make these to a 1/87 scale we have a whole new market." Also, "If we made some old cars like from the 40's and 50's we would have another whole market"

Daa, Is that so complicated for these guys..

Anyway it looks like you have a "STRETCHED" 40 ft container.

Harvey.
