Personally, it's been tough to spend time on the site posting pics and comments, etc. I find with any type of forum, after a few months it quiets down, and it's hard to stay interested and focused. I have found this to be also true on IRC. The main problem is when the founder or owner (of a channel or forum) looses interest and doesn't stay in touch, people loose interest and things get stale. I have been on a lot of good IRC channels where the conversation and discussions were great, but typically have lasted 6 months, maybe a year. When I look at IRC today, it's practically dead.
I have found a lot of great information here, stuff that will help me with my layout. It would be nice to get some response with my inquiries that I have sent to the site owner, but no luck so far. It would be nice to get a reply back one day.

Just Wanted To Write This And See If Other Members Feel Like I Do About This Site. Since The Crash Things Have Been Really Slow On This Site.not Even Sure Who The Moderators Are On This Site.and Will Any One Really Post On This Site Anymore Since All The Regulars Seem To Have Left.just A Few Thoughts I Have Had On These Things, answers Are Very Welcome At This Point.
I logged on two diferent times today and both times it was myself and 11 or 12 guests (not members) Now why can't we get these guests to sign up? What are they seeing and turning them off?
Well it maybe all the talk of Doom and gloom is turning them off. They may feel that by all the talk the end is near. So it may be time to let this thread to fade away.

Hi Chris, I pop in most days but after I have finished looking and answering the posts I move on to another site, you need to remember that we are at different times of the day around the world,
As for why people don't sign up there is no reason to if you don't want to take part in debates or comment on posts this site is open in all the things non members can do, Not like some where you need to have membership to be able to go to certain areas of the site. try going around the sister site without logging in or being a member and see the difference!
Hello everyone,
Whew! Everyone is wondering whether the site will survive or not?
No, I haven't been avoiding you folks, but have been extremely busy. Right now I've got 2 part time jobs, one doing some engineering, a little Q.A., troubleshooting, and machine repair, the other teaching CAD and machining classes (www.sc4.edu), and a machining business in my garage. As a result, I have had almost NO internet or modeling time but hope things will ease a bit soon- not too much as I still need to make a living- but hopefully enough so I can get back to the hobby. Everyone hang in there. As I've said before, this is a great site with a great bunch of people.
Regards,
Tom

Hey the way things are we all are working hard to get by. I think when things start to ease up members will come back. I will be glad when that happeneds, I still have a lot to learn and I get it here from reading the posts and looking at all the pictures as well as the helpful feed back I get. So we all have to just hang in there!
